The LZR Project (Prequel Short Story Series)
For years, the city of Lysallis and the continent of Enera has been consistently terrorized by the criminal mastermind Mr. Big using his vast network of black market weapons, drugs, and murder-for-hire. With the police and government at a loss to stop him, four teenagers known as Lazerblades joined forces in an effort to sabotage Mr. Big and end his widespread mayhem.
The unconventional efforts of the Lazerblades offered some relief, but Mr. Big never stayed down for long. Through an infinite pool of secretive resources, he always escaped the long arm of justice and returned to his sadistic ways. In a desperate attempt to stop Mr. Big once and for all, The LZR Project was formed as an alliance between the Lazerblades and the Enera government to consolidate splintered resources and tactics.
But The LZR Project turned out to be much more than a simple crime-fighting organization. In the little time the Project existed, loyalties were broken, the human spirit was tested, and a city was forever scarred by the battles that raged between a group of heroes and one of the most powerful men in all of Enera.
